Walking tours of the city can be organized upon request.

What to do in Naples:
  • Walk through Centro Storico: piazza del Gesù Nuovo, via San Gregorio Armeno and its nativity scenes, and San Lorenzo Maggiore’s excavation site under the church offers you a unique look at ancient Neapolis. Recommended link: http://www.footprintguides.com/Naples/Centro-Storico.php
  • Walk through Chiaia neighbourhood: Piazza Vittoria, Via Calabrito is lined with top Italian designer shops, Piazza dei Martiri, and Via Chiaia lined with clothing and shoe shops takes you to Piazza Plebiscito, The Royal Palace and the San Carlo theater. Recommended link: http://www.naples.world-guides.com/monuments.html
  • Shopping: For clothing, shoes, chocolates and pastries a walk down Via Chiaia and Via Roma offers a good 2 hours of browsing and shopping. Alternatively you can take the funicular up to the Vomero neighborhood where a pedestrian street, Via Scarlatti, offers many of the same shops.
  • Parks: The Villa Comunale runs parallel to the sea and is located in the center of the city. The Villa Floridana, located in the Vomero, is a wonderful woodsy park with great views of the city.
